Hi, It has been a few years but I thought I'd let you know Mr. Peepers is doing great. We moved from Maine to Connecticut and he rode on my shoulder in the car all the way. We got some great looks, lots of waves, and the kids in the other cars really loved it. His cage is right next to the patio sliding door and he has a great view of the outdoors and lots of fresh air. His vocabulary is amazing and his association with words really astounds me. When the dogs bark he tells them to "be quiet, go lay down". When I get the leashes out he says "wanna go out?". I am guessing he says about 100-150 words from "I love you", "Good Morning", "Good Night", "Good Mr. Peepers", "bad bird", etc. Of course he has a huge amount of different sounds from the garbage truck backing up with that obnoxious beep, beep, beep and the microwave beep at the end of the time cycle. He also imitates the birds that are outside and their songs and chirps. I baby sit for a friends Amazon and when he screams (a very obnxious, nasty bird) Mr. peepers tells him to "be quiet". He is a great bird and is a lot of fun. Thanks again for breeding such a nice bird. Chris

Nancy and Ray drove from Corpus Christi to pick up their new baby Timneh. They noticed one of my baby Senegals and their baby Tim playing together and decided to get the Senegal too.

Hi Kelley, it's Nancy from Corpus! Hey just wanted to let you know that my 2 new babies are doing absolutely wonderful!! They have been named "Squeaky" (the gray) and "Cricket" (the Senegal) and believe me there names fit them perfectly. They are down to one hand feeding a day (in the mornings) and are eating continuously during the day. They have fit into our family beautifully and get more attention than anyone else. We have fallen so in love with them that neither myself or Ray can hardly wait to get home to play with them. They really like to watch TV with us at night and cuddle up in our laps in a blanket.  Well just wanted to let you know that they are doing great and wanted to thank you for raising such healthy and happy babies. Best of luck, your friend...Nancy

Hi Kelly,  I wanted to let you know how we’re getting along with the new bird. He’s sitting on my shoulder as I’m typing this email. We named him Cocoa. We’ve been getting along fine he’s a very affectionate bird. We give him all kinds of fruit and vegetables he seems to like squash and beans the best. He also eats Zupreem pellets (he prefers the yellow and green colored ones). A lady from Virginia called me about a week ago to ask how our experience was. I told her we were very happy and would recommend doing business with you.  Thanks again for everything.     Regards, Shawn

Hi Kelly,  Our bird is doing great.  He has adapted to the new environment and to us very well.  He has been eating well, fruits, vegetables, pellets and a few seeds now and then.  He plays a lot around his cage and with his toys.  He is a really sweet bird and very nice to be around.  He makes nice sounds, but not too loud :) By the way the shipping worked out great. thank you again for providing us with such a wonderful Parrot,    Philippe and Ked

Hi Kelly, We've decided the baby is a she and named her Lyra accordingly.  She is a sweetheart.  At first she was testing her boundaries but has settled in nicely.  She is real curious about the other birds.  She eats real well, better than my others I must say.  We're slowly moving her over to Zupreem and she is taking to it pretty well.  I'm hoping to get my indoor aviary done this weekend to give her and the others more space.  I'll also be getting a lot more toys and some flight suits here shortly.  I'd love to be able to take them with me.  She has almost demolished one of the toys in her cage already!  She just loves to chew on it. She has an odd fascination with the top of my head, she likes to climb up there then climb down, it's funny.  However, I don't like to let her stay up there. Is there anything special that she liked?  I know some birds like being scratched in certain places etc., just curious.  I haven't taken pictures  yet but I will be soon.  I'll be sure to send some to you. hank you, Rebekah

Hi Rebekah, funny you say that, Gozi one of my pet Sens refuses to land on my shoulder or anywhere else for that matter, but always lands on my head, I think she figured out that if she lands there she knows I will pick her up and put her on my shoulder. Lyra always liked being put under your chin next to your neck and scratched on the side of her head. Glad everything is going good and she is in a nice home. Would you mine if I use you as a reference? If so is it ok to disclose your e-mail and/or phone number. I only give this information to customers who request a reference and no information is given out otherwise. Thanks and give Lyra a grape for me, Kelly

Hi Kelly, That makes sense.  She always tends to nestle up to the side of my neck and I give her scratches and she closes her eyes.  Sure, you can use me as a reference, not a problem. I'll be sure to give her a grape for you.  So far, she has been intent on eating carrots, beans and pasta.  Hasn't touched the broccoli as of yet though. I love it because she is one of the neatest birds.  She barely makes a mess.  I have her in an Avian Adventures cage with a seed catcher.  I think I need to switch her and my one Sun.  His food is always every where but in his dish and the cats end up cleaning up some of his mess for me.  Lyra is just so proper, it cracks me up! Rebekah

Hi Kelly! Baby is doing wonderfully, and we have renamed her Lilly. She stopped her biting right away, and is getting along wonderfully with our other pets. I like to call her Chakita, because she makes this sweet little noise, that sounds like she's saying chakita! Lilly is almost never in her cage, and is on my shoulder right now, as I type! Thank you so much for raising such sweet little parrots! Lilly says hi!    Gabriela

Hey Kelly, Just wanted to let you know how the baby is doing. Its precious, has been all over my shoulder, is standing, walking, beak testing my fingers, etc. I did have to tube because she wasn’t interested in eating. That’s really common the first few days after being moved. I expect she will get exited about feeding by tomorrow or the next day. Anyway, its just precious, and very inquisitive!  Thanks, dc

Hi Kelly, Just want to let you know that the babies are both settling in well. My friend at work just absolutely adores hers. She's wanted one for so long and said that although she has had birds for years (lovebirds), she has never had a bird sit on her hand before. She was in heaven with the littlest one - I think that was probably the one that you said would be a little tamer. The other is terrific as well. We're already bonding. He took a full syringe of formula hungrily when we got home. Eating apples, peas out of the hand - no problem. Loves the new cage with all of the new toys. My husband came home from work to meet the new baby (a surprise for him) and he's already crazy about it. It is just so tame already. Once again, thank you so much for everything. You've done a great job with these birds and obviously care a lot about what you do. We thank you for our new      Marcy
